Garden Experience Guide

Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens

Explore over 40 hectares of beautiful gardens including perennial features, rhododendrons, azaleas, a formal parterre garden, shade, herb and vegetable plantings, and an award-winning rose garden with over 2,400 varieties. Established in 1936, the Botanical Gardens is home to North America’s largest glass-enclosed Butterfly Conservatory and is also the outdoor classroom for students attending the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture. Footpaths wind past the Butterfly Conservatory, ponds and throughout the arboretum, one of Canada’s finest collections of ornamental trees and shrubs. Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens is located on the scenic Niagara Parkway just 10 minutes north of the Falls.
